What we do and how you can serve…

Our church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at this church.

The Youth Are Our Future

We provide Nursery Service during our worship time.  We also provide Wee-Worship for ages 3-6.  If you would like to volunteer to help with these programs please see Michele Redmon.

Preparing Meals

We have meals every Wednesday night, quarterly breakfasts, and special occasion meals.  If you like to cook, bake, prepare, or help serve we would love to have you volunteer.

Music

We are always looking for musical talent.  Whether you want to sing in the choir, play a musical instrument, are a soloist, or just want to help out with the music programs, we would love to have you join us.  Please see the Choir Director, Susan Lyons to get started.

Drama

If you have an interest or talent in Drama, please see Ron Hopper.  We are always looking for volunteers to add skits to our service or participate in our Christmas/Easter presentations.

Do you like to Quilt, Sew, Crochet or want to learn?

Join the Blanketeers!! This group of women (but would love to have men as well) meet every Tuesday morning at 10:00am to construct blankets for the newborns at the hospital or for those in need.  Please see or ask for Betty Taylor and she will be happy to get you started or just join them on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 a.m. at the church.

Willing Workers Women

This group of women are real go-getters and have monthly meetings to plan and execute future events.  They are always looking for willing women to join in the fun.  Check our calendar for dates, times, and locations of their next meeting.
Prayer Team
Join our group of prayer warriors.  Prayer is so important and we always have a large prayer list and individuals that
like to have someone pray with/for them.  We need all the prayer warriors we can get.

Greeters/Ushers
Do you naturally like people and want to be of help?  How about becoming a greeter for new visitors to our church or an usher to help them find a seat.  See any of the Deacons and they can get you started.
